J. Richard Barnard, CPA
Director of Management Advisory Services
Dick founded Barnard, Vogler & Co. in 1969. He has over 40 years of accounting, auditing, consulting and income taxation experience with clients of all sizes in both industry and government.
Dick’s areas of practice currently include planning and compliance in corporate, individual, partnership trust and estate taxation, assistance with purchase and sale of businesses and general business consulting.
Leslie C. Daane, CPA
Managing Director, Director of Tax Services
Leslie joined Barnard, Vogler & Co. in 1990. She has experience in auditing, accounting and tax services for a wide variety of clients.
Leslie currently concentrates in the areas of income and estate taxation, dealing with both compliance and planning. She provides technical research and consulting assistance on a wide range of tax and management issues.
Michael E. Davis, CPA
Director of Accounting and Audit
Mike joined Barnard, Vogler & Co. in 1986. Over the years Mike has focused most of his time in the audit and accounting area of the firm’s practice.
Mike’s expertise includes the area of audit and accounting as well as the preparation of tax filings for individuals, corporations and partnerships.
Patricia P. Davis, CPA
Director of Administration
Pat has been with Barnard, Vogler & Co. since 1973. She serves as Director of Administration.
Pat’s area of expertise includes client accounting, individual income tax preparation, retirement plan accounting and payroll taxes.
Kam L. Chan, CPA
Director of Tax Administration
Kam joined Barnard, Vogler & Co. in 1979. She has over 25 years experience providing tax and accounting services to both individuals and businesses.
Kam oversees preparation of individual and business tax returns. She also manages monthly bookkeeping and payroll reporting for clients, is experienced with several accounting software programs and provides consulting and training services to client personnel.
David J. Thompson, CPA
Director of Business Consulting and
Litigation Support
Dave joined Barnard Vogler & Co. in 2009. He has served as an executive in finance and accounting for the casino industry, as a consultant for a national CPA firm, and managed his own practice before purchasing a small electronics manufacturing firm in Las Vegas, building it into a diversified, public company with a global manufacturing network.
Dave has developed a unique set of business skills that allow him to not only offer clients traditional public accounting services but also assist in a wide variety of business solutions. With over 40 years of business, accounting, taxation, and litigation experience, the industries he has served include manufacturing, gaming, governmental, labor unions, and nonprofits.
